NFF Set To Confirm Le Guen As Super Eagles New Coach
Date Posted: 12/07/2016
IN MY OPINION, the super eagles does NOT need a foreign coach!!!!!!! Nonetheless, acoording to THE PUNCH, The Nigerian Football Federation is set to confirm Paul Le Guen as the new coach of the Super Eagles.
Paul Le Guen looks like the clear favourite as a vast member of the
glass house are convinced he is the right man for the Super Eagles due
to his knowledge of the African game.Le Guen will be confirmed as Super Eagles new coach
The former French defender who coached Cameroon between 2009-10, is the forerunner to become the Super Eagles coach ahead of former Togolese coach, Tom Saintfeit and current Super Eagles interim coach, Salisu Yusuf who according to reports will reject any appointment as an assistant.
An NFF official said,“As it is now the position of the deputy has been thrown open because Yusuf is still insisting that he would not work as an assistant to Le Guen. Those who worked on their entries picked the Frenchman and with the hope that Yusuf could learn a lot from him for the immediate future but he (Yusuf) appears to have some other ideas so the federation will now have to consider a new person altogether to replace Yusuf”.
